I purchased this gorgeous hand thrown vase from the estate of a local antique dealer. It was stored in the basement and forgotten about. A note inside it said it was purchased at an estate in Alfred N.Y in 1985. I would like to know who the artist was. It has a beautiful matte oatmeal glaze with microcrystalline blue/grey areas. The applied "ribbon" has a slightly more glossy glaze. It is a heavy well formed vase and was obviously made by a master potter. The shape looks arts and crafts era, but I don't know when it was made. Any help would be appreciated.
