    I think this may be an antique "ice or iced" reverse shade. I do not have the base. It is large; it stands 6.5 inches tall and the rim is 12 inches in diameter. I would love any feedback on this piece.

      Your shade was made by Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. early in the 20th century. It would have hung from chains as a chandelier or in a fixture up against the ceiling. Antique hardware is relatively easy to find, so using it again is possible.
