by? Mervin Hal Abbot? Friend of the Sea, 1977. i think that's what it says. do you recognize who this is Blunder? i've had it sitting in my room full of frames for years. i don't remember where i got it. This is a pencil / charcoal sketch - large.

Ho2, the U.S.V.I. weren't on my usual migration route Until about '79 & then I stayed with friends in St. John . Can't say I recognize the name.

Well .. it's interesting what turns up if you search your own name! lol .. Yes .. this was drawn by me. I used to live on St. Thomas, USVI. I went there in 1975 and left at the end of 1979. I worked as an EMT in the Hospital ER and on the ambulance .. also worked at Sapphire Beach Resort for a while. Back then I did many different artistic things .. black and white prints were sold in some local shops to the tourists. My first name, "Merwin" .. means Sea Friend .. like MerMaid means Sea Woman. Do you still have this piece? It's really amazing how one's art work travels around.
