Dear all, about 7 months ago I posted this very simple but lovely ceramic vase and was offered some research options on the mark, at the time I did consider that it may have been some kind of beehive. But ... I have since researched books and internet but still haven't worked out what the mark represents! Any thoughts would be very much appreciated. X

Have you tried using a photo editor to change colours or contrast to see if it makes the writing stand out more?
