Thimbles have made enormous in many periods and different materials. I only have a few but these two take a special place in my heart because they were from my grandmother (1882-1978).
Bot are marked Sterling Silver. One from the Art Nouveau period inner vermeil to see on the very nice butterfly and flowers in the lower edge.
The other also very nice decorated edge.

These are really so awesome! I remember my grandmother had quite a collection of thimbles.
