    This pretty hand painted lamp came from a family in Ontario, Canada. No one in family left to tell of history. Family was a great collector of antiques. Expect they had it for at least 60 plus years. Can anyone tell anything about it? age, origin, artist (shade is not original)

      I would be fine saying its Japanese do to the style of the birds and flowers. As to who made it would have to look on the bottom to see if there is a mark. Was most likely a jar would of had a lid before it was changed in to a lamp.
