I am stripping the old dark Shellac to the beautiful Oak. All I really know about this antique piece of furniture is the mirror is a British Silvered glass PB

I like the old finish on it and wouldn't touch it!

It looks much better with the natural Oak color and refinished with Shellac blonde

melaniej, photos are deceiving. It was full of water stains and beyond Shellac repairs. I only did what was required by the client, but I am very happy with the end results. A beautiful piece
