Bought this for $40 as I suspected it could be gorgeous. I was right and found the beautiful flame wood pattern beneath The paint. What intrigue me most were the balls on the front feet. Anybody have any guesses as to the era of a piece like this? All guesses and thoughts are welcome.
You do nice work-- I like the natural wood much more than paint!
Based on the overall style, construction and original hardware; I would put this as 1940s- 50s.
Not quite and antique yet!
