    Is there anyone who can tell me and about this unusual penknife with a spirit level built into the top. I think it is post WW2 but can anyone date it more precisely. On the blade it says WUCOS Germany and also DRGM which I presume means Democratic Republic of Germany. Also, is the case plastic, bone or Ivory?

    Length with both blades extended is just a tadge under 9 cms.

    Am not sure how collectable the knife might be, but again any help on this would be appreciated.

      WUCOS = Windhovel & Co. ca. 1920s. D.R.G.M. = Deutsches Reich Gebrauchs Muster, i.e. "Design Registered in the German Empire." Your case appears to have a fine grain pattern to it. In this case it is celluloid plastic called by many trade-names e.g."Ivorite", "Ivorene", etc, commonly referred to as "French Ivory." 717 471 9360
