When looking at vintage/antique framed items in thrift stores/antique shops, if possible I peak inside to see if anything is hiding.
The frame fit the vibrant print of a winter cabin sunset, and also inside of it were three Dutch postcards with Bible Verses on them.
For some reason, people really like to hide things in frames. I was quite pleased with what I found.
The postcards will go in my postcard book. The print will go back behind glass after I clean the glass up. The frame also needs repairs, so it may eventually get replaced.
Date unknown for all items. The postcards I'd expect to be around 1900.
