C. Forschner's Improved Circular Scale to measure 30 lbs. in ounces. Every 10 lb. marked on a slide that pops out as the hook with an odd loop is dragged down.
I'm curious about when it was made? It's pretty big.

1900 or so Found them in a Directory showing making these scales. Also found in another manufactures product shows them in business 1890.
