This little snuff jar is quite amazing to me. The amount of detail in such a small space must have taken an incredible amount of time and patience.

On one side is a chrysanthemum, which appears to be the object of prey for a dragon that wraps around the rest of the jar.

The reign mark on this indicates it could have been a medicine jar converted to use for a snuff bottle.

probably it is an Peony , it got a very long hist, the stands alone peony,s appears in after the nguyen riots in annam porcelain the 16 century

later the peony double peonies got famous for the dowager cixi hype

what happened to the corrosion to the da qing qianlong nian zhi , were is the argentum corrosion, i think i think it is at best late late guangxu but maybe later

i got bad eyes , but is this still painted ?

is the plating in the dragon still cross hatch and dots guanghu , i got my doubts
