Hello Again,
I bought this pair of tiles today. They're in old looking oak frames, ( I feel sure that they are vintage ),with solid oak back. They may be 6" inches square, ( viewed in the frame window they're 5+5/8" inches square ).
The images are, a Falconer on Horseback, and a Dog hunting a Deer. They each have an over all crackle, and the hand painted images are really wonderful.
I hope they ring a bell with someone, I'm in the hunt to know more about them.

the scenes are typical of Iznik pottery from Persia, although the style seems more modern, or maybe primitive?
