Oh this bottle is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice! I did a specific gravity test and it is jadeite. The top is made of coral, the spoon is ivory. There's an old auction number written on the spoon.
The color of the white is what's known as mutton fat - it's almost translucent.
The hollowing is very fine. I would estimate the walls to be no more than 1/8th of an inch thick.
The carving features a butterfly and either a squash or eggplant vine. I think it's an eggplant. You can see a mature fruit on the side.
I am sooo sooo sooo happy to have this bottle! It is now one of the finest in my collection.
