My wife and I have been interested in getting info on these vases. They have been in the family for 80-ish years after being saved from a house fire. The previous owners gifted the pair in thanks for saving many other household goods.

They are unmarked and the porcelain/ceramic have multiple imperfections. The images have a raised texture suggesting hand painted but we know nothing about pottery. The counter is a quilters cutting mat so each square is 1". Any hints will be appreciated!

I would have to say they are Chinese due to the shape of the vase they style is Famille Vertte Rouleau date wise guessing Mid to late 19th century But I could be wrong not a expert in on Chinese pottery They could be older . You can google Famille Vertte Rouleau you might find a similar ones. They are nice looking vases.

These are valuable Chinese vases!!! From the pictures they looked Kangxi period to me. But then they could be reproductions from the Republic period, yet still valuable nonetheless. I think you should go to an antique valuer to find out more about them.

i am not sure , but i think the point of this vase the red macaroni curls of the top border and the lack of the bleech chalk color of the bird i think this is early republic
