found on ebay. the auction photo did not have a high enough resolution for me to see the bottom text that appears on the photograph, so it was an interesting surprise.
i know "circassian" beauties were common in circuses and sideshows and usually portrayed with wild masses of hair which attempted to idealize the actual Circassian women of Caucasus. this CDV, however, seems to portray perhaps an actual Circassian woman. can anyone confirm or give more info?
