Very interesting find and have no idea what this is. Appears to be a bottle of (gold paint) that screws onto brass dispenser with wheel, and has adjustable lever guide. There is a patent number on the brass part (perhaps 2721547 ?), and on the bottle is B 21. If any individual can help determine what this item is called, and was designed for, sure would be a big help. I am so curious.
You nailed it, bobby. Long ago I worked at a paint store and we sold these. I think they were called "Zip Striper" or something like that. You could put on different wheels for different widths of stripe.
