I'm guessing it's not old. I found in a thrift store some years back.
But I'll take any info as to age and maker along with my original question of....is it broken or never finished?
I will hold water, to bad I didn't check that with a little soap as well before I photographed it...lol
    7 1/2" tall
    4 1/2" across the top
    Thanks for looking!

I have one of these on my dining room table because it's pretty, and also very inexpensive if the cat or kids happen to destroy it. But, I can't remember who the maker is right now....

Karen it's not broken, just left with an unfinished base. The rough looking bit is wear the vase has been snapped off the pontil.
It's such a happy piece of glass!

It's 10 1/4" tall and 7" across on rim. There are always many of these for sale on Ebay. :)
