An outstandingly strong saw for cutting various types of material. Keen Kutter made multiple versions of saws and this one seems to be the most common. All Keen Kutter saws should have the bar and wedge logo in the direct center of the blade and on the "medallion bolt" as shown.

What is the difference between a Simmons hand saw and a Keen Kutter hand saw? Both are Simmons saws.

Flashlarue Keen Kutter saws have the keen kutter logo on the blade, usually in the center. Also, either on the back or front, there is a paragraph in script. Keen Kutter saws also have a different design on the handle. They are indeed both by simmons, but Keen Kutter was the better brand. They branded their items corresponding with quality. Simmons was good quality, Keen Kutter was the best they offered and were some of the best you could buy back in the day.

I did not include a photo of the script on this piece. You can also see the logo on the large "nut" on the handle.
