    TRYING TO IDENTIFY THE STICKER ON THE BACK OF THIS VINTAGE WOOD CARVING OF THE LION OF LUCERNE. THIS WAS FROM AN ESTATE. IT MEASURES 9" x 7"x1" deep. THEIR IS A PARTIAL STICKER ON THE BACK. LOOKS LIKE IT READS " MAGASIN- AND I AM GUESSING THE REST ON THAT LINE IS SWITZERLAND. THEN C. GOER?????, TAKE A LOOK. IS IT A STICKER THAT SOMEONE HAS SEEN. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!

      i think the sticker is the store that sold the wood carving because there are many on the net plus i would love to go see the real stone carving of the lion of lucerne seen a picture of it thats cool as heck. hope this helps you out and great wood carving

      C.Goer was a department store in Geneva at Place du Lac 2, founded 1852.
      The carving is more than 100 years old.
