    I collect unique pieces and was thrilked to find this.There are halk marks on it that i havnt researched yet.I believe it is an antique ink stand but not sure.

      Hard to tell on this one. Ink stands are a popular reproduction item-- usually made of brass.

      Some additional photos of the back of the stand and interior of the wells and of course the hallmarks would be helpful to determine the age of yours.
