Here's a neat 'attic find' -- an old (1950's-60's?) INTERMATIC electric timer switch, still in its original box (its lid is now detached) and even with an original printed 'info sheet'.

It has obviously been used somewhere for some period of time -- but for what and for how long will remain a mystery for the ages...though perhaps not as an intriguing one than how the cardboard box managed to remain available for the timer to be put *back into* later...??

Late 50s, early early 60s, I'd think. Primitive ZIP-code (used only in certain cities for certain cities, plus printing style of pamphlet).
Somtimes I wish I had one to turn some things off and some things on.
