Hello I found this pendant and am wondering how old it is marked R,G, A D , it has a little star between the A D , I am not sure where it's from.

Sure does look like at least 18k gold, I can't imagine it's higher than that because it gets too soft to hold the stone securely. But it looks higher to me, and the stone is really a beautiful match to the gold. Very nice find!
A&D stands for Andreas Daub, a German jewelry manufacturer. Gold plated costume jewelry.
