Maid painting

I love this oil painting I picked up at a yard sale. It is smaller being only about 8x10" but the brush stroked can be seen and felt. Help on identification would be appreciated.

Thanks to the comments, I took the picture out of the frame. I am shocked to see that it seems to be painted on a piece of wood. The name appears to be something like E. May or E. Moy or E. Mey (with another letter or two). There is a little bit of wear on the corners and you can see wood like the paint literally chipped off. I tried to get the best pics possible but since I can only upload 4, I chose the best to show detail.

Again, any info would be appreciated. It would be such a blessing if this actually happened to be worth a little.
