Here's a cabin trunk I reworked. Late 1890's was it's birthday to my best guess. I've been into utilizing lots of brass in my work lately but leather is something I seldom use to finish a trunk with. Jordan has a fairly thick yet extremely supple feel with this outer and while I did use most of the original hardware, the drawbolts are one liberty I took. Lined with black felt and a silk weave seemed to suit the inner and with the almost military look of the outside, I thought this would be a good contrast.
