I found this bracelet in a thrift shop. Not sure about the metal, I don't think it's silver but it doesn't stick to a magnet. There is 1 ring missing and the clasp is very simple.
This bracelet has 6 pannels, each commemorate WWII in the Netherlands.
First panel: Nederlandse Grebbe Helden (Dutch Grebbe Linie heroes).
Second panel: 10 - 14 mei 1940 (10-14 May 1940, German invasion)
Third panel: R'dam (short for Rotterdam, the bombing)
Forth panel: Arnhem (dropping of parachutists for Operation Market Garden)
Fifth panel: Liberation by tanks of allied troops.
Sixth panel: Nederland herrijst 1945 ( The Netherlands is rising - survives)
It's not a very valuable bracelet but for me it's special.

This is great. I would love to find something like that around here. The thrift shops in Sittard which used to carry nice things now have only ROTZOOI.....!!!!
How wonderful to find this Hel1, well done!
wow. love it. why not silver. not magnetic so aluminium? but looks silver to me. although i wouldnt know.
Hi, I am so pleased to find your post online as I too have one! I live in England and have had it since I was a child when my Grandma gave it to me whilst sorting out a cupboard. I always thought it was interesting but as a child did not think much more about it. These past years I always wondered where the 'safe place' was that I put it and yesterday whilst sorting out our loft I came across it!!! I tried Googling it to find out more information and came across yours! ???? Also the bazaar thing is mine also has a link missing but between Arnhem and the Tanks. I am new to this site so not sure how to upload any photos but anymore information about this would be amazing, thank you ???????? x
Hi, NickyNackyNoo. :-)
So you have a twin or near twin of the bracelet in this post. Cool.
You can't upload pictures to comments on posts. What you would need to do is to create a post of your own, and add up to four pictures to it.
Be patient while creating a post (try to keep your hands off of the keyboard and mouse after submitting it, and while the post is getting created).
If you get errors during post creation, check status either on your profile, or "All Activity" of Show & Tell (open separate tabs for these activities).
Unfortunately, those error messages can be misleading, and trying to resubmit can cause needless duplicate posts.
Hi Keramikos,
Thank you so much for your reply! ????.
I will try that now and hope it loads OK xx. I was so pleased to see another on the internet and I hope the other lady still has hers. Wish me luck with popping it on here ???????? x
Sorry Keramikos - the ???? should be emoji ...... perhaps this site does not allow them :)
