I absolutely love cameos! My dad picked this up at a garage sale. I thought it was a locket. But when I opened it there was a scented creme, gel like substance. I image it smelled better when it first came out. :)
Any info you have at all is appreciated!

The green substance on the inside?

Oops - should have looked at both listings before popping off. Since you have the box, you probably know more about the piece than most eBay sellers do.

Is the green from oxidation of the metal/verdigris? Or is it residue from the creme perfume? Either way, you might want to clean.

Verdigris is highly corrosive and can also spread to other jewelry pieces.
