This 1890s photo I dubbed the "Happy Couple". Broecker Photography from what I can read. Looks like she may be pregnant, due too her hand on her stomach. The look on the woman's face captivates me. I wonder what she has been through..
He looks like he has been through even more. Life was very hard. I don't know how they did it! Really!
I agree.
I always wondered about the facial expressions of the people in these old photos.
Then I think about what it must have been like to live back then and and I'm like yeah.... I wouldn't be smiling either.
