Last week I found this two rose bowls. They are in mint condition. I am not sure about their age. I know that they were very popular in Victorian times, but they were also produced much later.

I have seen several rose bowls similar to mine identified as Mt. Washington. Because I am not familiar with this kind of glass, I hope that someone out there knows more.

    Thanks for looking:)

I think these rose bowls were made by Fenton. I’m pretty sure Fenton produced glass in that pinkish color. If I had to make an educated guess, I would say.... Fenton!

The pontil mark is an indication of these NOT being Fenton. Mt. Washington seems more likely but not sure; tho' the pink does look like their peach blow...

TimeTraveller and TallCakes, thanks so much for your comments. I have a few Fenton pieces but they are all made of thicker glass. I also agree with TallCakes about the pontil mark; the Fenton pieces look different. I guessed Mt. Washington - but this guess is only based on pictures I found on the Internet but I think that is not a reliable way to identify anything. In any case, I want to thanks both of you for your help.
