    Found this in a junk shop, and thought it was intriguing. Trying to figure out what it was used for...any ideas? It measures 11 inches long, and the head is about 2 1/2 inches wide.

      Agree with bobby725, a "soft face" hammer that used to have plastic/rubber caps fitted to the posts on each side of its head.
