Vintage Sterling Silver Scottish Terrier Brooch H/M Birm. 1946

This is the last one of my ‘Scottish’ themed brooches, a gorgeous vintage sterling silver Scottish Terrier hallmarked on the reverse, Birmingham 1946, no makers mark.
The brooch looks a bit flimsy but is in fact quite a good weight. I love the detailing on the front, he looks a real character!
My grandparents had a Scottish Terrier, his name was Murdo and he was a holy terror but we loved him to bits. This brooch reminds me of him.
