    One month and a half or so before the wars end a SS unit issued this movement-permit for a German of Hungarian origin to leave for Germany. The permit is extended again by the SS about a week later and was used to enter Bohemia and Moravia, close to the wars end on April 23rd.

      I think about the people who had to have this.

      Indeed, their position was completely different 2-3 years earlier...180 degrees. The fear from the Red Army was partly due to propaganda and from actual real reprisals.
