this 14 inch daruma arrived yesterday. i'd been looking for one for quite a while. i really like him alot despite a bit of damage [scraping]. I think he's pretty old. what do you think?

Fully admitting I know nothing whatsoever about Zen Buddhism so I truly hope this isn't disrespectful or blasphemous or anything...but am I the only one amused by the look on his face? Almost as though he just let out a big 'ole belch [shall we say, etc. etc.] or whatever, after a large meal...? <giggle>
