Kalamazoo Michigan Barn Relic- an Authentic Hippie Peace Helmet

World War One Army helmet, painted red, white and blue around 1969 by a Michigan college student. The story I was told: "the painting on this helmet took place in the late 1960's by my older sister at the time of all the unrest in our country, she had this in her dorm room, and apartment back in the day, it has been in our barn ever since, so time to move it as I was cleaning up the barn."
