    Part of my collection, this is quite chunky has a roll over safety clasp, no markings that I can see wonder if anyone has any idea of history eg date period/maker?

      WOW! I've never seen stones cut like that. Is there a name for that cut?

      Thanks folks I am so grateful for the info, I have loads of brooches as a few years back I went a bit nuts buying anything that took my fancy lol. Although I like all of my collection there are some that I really love. Maybe these will be a legacy for my grandchildren someday.
      I'll photograph more and post and maybe I'll get info for those as well.
