An old painting I found that I was told was done for a book that admiral Seemes did in 1869. It was then gifted to an annie r bond of Nashville tn. If anyone could help me get more info on the painting I sure would appreciate it. Thanks All and love this website

Really interesting painting. Is it on metal or board?
