    I'm honestly clueless as to what I was given here. I believe it's either French or Italian in origin. No markings on it anywhere. Solid wood and looks to be, hand carved.

      Magnifique ! So unusual elegance in this artist's design, It reminds me of 1940's topped tables from Austria and an almost fairyland feel to the figures !~
