This brooch belonged to my Great Great Grandmother. My family originated from what was once, Czechoslovakia. The entire piece is made out of Bohemian Garnets or Prague Garnets. Unfortunately the locket is missing the glass in the back, which would of held the hair of a loved one. This brooch dates back to the 1800's.
