Antique African Purse?

I purchased this today because I felt it was antique and it had character. I fell in love with it. I would like assistance in knowing it's origin. If anyone knows I would appreciate your help! Thanks for looking and let me know. The cowrie shells are awesome and the metal attachments sounds like bells.
