This vase is 19" high and the base is 5" at its widest point. The base is ground flat.

No problem washing this one. I can stick my arm into it, past my elbow, all the way to the bottom of the vase with a fist full of paper towels. I had to wash it in the bathtub.

I was not having a good day, having driven an hour to get to the town where I found this and finding nothing at all at the first two stores that I went to. Traffic was really bad since school is back in session. I was at the third store, thinking I should have just stayed in bed, when I walked around a corner and this vase was sitting on a shelf literally a foot in front of my face. Definitely worth the trip. I paid $4.99 plus tax for it. Amethyst is a rare color of Viking.

I also picked up an old birds eye maple nursing rocking chair for $8. It has a very dark label on the bottom, which I haven't read yet. it is still in the back seat of my car.... I really don't have a place for it, but, well, you know.... He/she who dies with the most rocking chairs wins. It is a very solid and easy rocker.
