I am looking for someone who knows exactly what these are. I purchased these two blue terracotta (maybe redware) seed jars at a flea market a few years ago, with the seller only saying they were his grandmothers' and he knew nothing about them. I have researched them several times and could not find any information about them in my searches. I am hoping you can help me with their identification. They are 11" high and 11" across at the handles and are very heavy blue terracotta or redware.

All I can tell you is that it is definitely not Native American.
