Here's a couple more recent 'loose snags' from the Goodwill shelves for a buck/pc., not that either of these necessarily match anything I've already got (they really don't?) but more because the patterns on both somehow appealed to me anyway, and because I actually tend to *use* little plates like this (more often than full size dinner plates) on a daily basis...? <lol>

Both are roughly 5-1/2" diameter 'plain white' heavy duty china with decorated rims. The 'brown' one is marked "Erwin" (pattern name?) and "CARR CHINA GRAFTON, W.VA." and the 'bluish green' one is marked "McNICOL CHINA CLARKSBURG W. VA.". I don't know the age of either, but both are in pretty good condition with relatively little wear.

Thanks so kindly to fortapache, jscott0363, Ben, and aura for tapping the <love it> button and especially to Newfld for leaving a comment!! I'm pleased I'm not the only one that found the patterns on these little plates appealing?!! :-) :-) :-)

For the record, a look at replacements.com confirms that "ERWIN" is indeed the pattern name of the Carr plate, but I didn't find an example pictured there of the McNicol pattern.

Both are nice, but I love the design on the Erwin the best.
