Hi. I acquired this knife today, but I cannot find out what it is.
It's around 12" long, with a decorated ivory handle. The blade bears a makers mark , but I can't decipher it.
I'm hoping that someone here can help me.
    Thanks! ????

The circle designs on your knife are common all over the near east - Turkey, Persia, Afghanistan, Northern Africa, etc., so it's probably safe to say it came from that area. The mark on the blade is three symbols repeated so while it is a maker's mark it may not actually be any language.

Now, this knife has character. And it doesn't say,"MADE IN CHINA".
