Glass Footed Candle Holders

I found these 2 lovely footed candle holders today. I've called them glass, but they could be crystal, as they have a lovely ring to them. I have not seen this type of candle holder before, looking like a little candy dish but with a candle holer in the bowl. They remind me of my Joseph Inwald Fish Bowl, but I can't find any like them on line. Does anyone recognise who made them and when? They could be very modern, as they are in pretty good condition, though they do have a few tiny dinks in them.
