When my husband's grandmother passed away, these were left to me. I don't know anything about costume jewelry, but I assume they're not worth too much.

You're right, they are not very valuable but very cute, and many people collect owls, so there is demand.
I have bought several of these owl necklaces over the years, purely for the nostalgic value.
I have some of those that my grandma owned.
