ID Request: Ottoman Spout Jug??

Another trophy from the thrift store. Hand-hammerd, probably tinned copper with a wonderful rustic character.
With beak-shaped spout. The lid seems missing.
At the thumb part the copper colour is clearly visible.
Could it be Ottoman?
