    Can anyone help me identify this thing? There is no markings and it appears to be brass. StNds about 6” and is very heavy.

      This looks like the Apis bull to me, which was a sacred bull worshipped by ancient Egyptians.

      You can get loads of info on line regarding Apis bull.

      Thank you so much for the info! And yes the details are minimal with lots of marks from being grinded, but still a cool piece.

      By any chance does anyone know how old this piece could be? Since its brass It’s obviously not from ancient Egypt, but I do know that my great grandmother purchased this at a thrift store in the early 1900’s, but that’s all I know.
