Getting caught up on some of the stuff long ago. This is one of my early Rose Bowl buys. The dealer had a bunch of goat skulls and box full of horns so these horns do not necessarily go with the horns.
Just a quick note about skulls and horns. Often you see steer skulls with rope or some other material around where the skull meets the horns. This is because the skull belonged to a cow which did not have horns. A bull would have projections on the skull like this goat has on which the horns would fit.
This is a field find or brush find etc. I used to think a field trip meant we were going to a field as I am a bit literally minded. Got a few more skulls to go for Taxidermy Tuesday.

Not a baaaad looking skull, his symmetry should be respected.
My dad's friend and neighbor retired and had a true operating grist mill decided to buy a few goats for the property. The last time I was at his place he had at least a hundred, it didn't take them long to multiply, Amway could learn a lot from them.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. I don't think I need to multiply as much as a goat. I respected his symmetry as much as possible.

Oh wow....didn't even know there was a section for horns hahaha. I want to post a set that I found and maybe someone can identify. I know it is an antelope of some type, mounted on a small section of the animals skull and covered with leather. Fort Apache are you from AZ then?
