Just bought from craigslist for 80 dollars. On the way to my car I saw the name in the shade. Lol .told the seller and he said it was fine. I love gargoyles.

But Meyda Tiffany....not the Louis Comfort Tiffany we all would like to have our hands on.
Meyda Tiffany made stained glass “in the style of Louis Comfort Tiffany”.
The quality is not the same, as you can see on the inside solder work. The solder looks ragged and irregular. But nobody is going to scrutinize the inside of it while it’s in use at your home.
It’s still a nice lamp at a good price - I would have bought it also.
A couple of years ago, I found 3 hanging lamps at Goodwill, made by Meyda Tiffany, for $15 each.
The people I gave them to loved them!
Oh, I see. That's a good lesson for me and I see what you are saying about the solder. Like you said, it's still a good price for a beautiful lamp. Strange, I was just thinking about how naive I am before I opened this posting.
