A very rare Pinocchio Disney “premium”
(a free giveaway promotional item)
I have had this item evaluated by well known Disney appraiser,
Robert Crooker (Mouse Man)
As follows:
“Designed as some kind of "stick-on".
“The backside would be wetted and it would be applied to some flat smooth surface.”
“For advertising or promotion.”
It was possibly a give-away at maybe a gas station or a cereal promotion.
In collector's terms it would be considered a "premium"
“Since I have never seen this item before I would then consider it to be rare
Disney’s Pinocchio movie debut in Feb 1940.
This has been laying flat in a scrapbook my grandmother made before my mom was born in Aug 1940.
(As a look book for her baby)
Printed on paper.
Looks and feels screen printed.
Colors are bright, not faded.
This is in near mint condition.
Apx 8x7 in Size
